The Institute LLC Golf Course is an ultra-private club that was created by Frys.com owner John Fry on the outskirts of Morgan Hill, about an hour's drive from the Bay Area and Monterey Peninsula. The golf course opened in 2002 and is the longest golf course from the championship tees in California at just under 8,000 yards, designed by Damian V. Pascuzz, a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. Though private, the course is located near CordeValle Golf Club on Highway 101.
