Family owned and operated, Spring Hills Golf Course is a casual golf club in a country setting in the foothills just north of Watsonville off Highway 1. Despite opening in 1963, golf has been played here since 1927 when one original hole was built by the land owner, which today is the No. 7. The back nine is the hillier of the two, which features panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, and the 18th hole features a 40-foot waterfall tumbling down the hillside. Built on land of the old Silva Estate, Spring Hills Golf Course's clubhouse is a ranch building that dates back to 1911.
