Monterey Pines Golf Course
Here
is an 18-hole golf course that may be one of the best kept secrets
on the Monterey
Peninsula. It is easily accessible, and the course is in
excellent shape. Great greens and narrow fairways give provide
a challenge to the golfer. The head professional is Clay Murray.
It was built in 1972 and designed by Robert Muir Graves. It
was formerly known as the U.S. Navy Course, and is still operated
by the military. But it is open to the public and offers a relaxed
round of golf at an affordable price.
